3 transfers that I wish FSU football brought in, but they went elsewhere

Three transfers that were on my wish list.

WR KC CONCEPCION (TEXAS A&M)

Florida State football failed miserably last year as they brought in two transfers Malik Benson and Jalen Brown for the wide receiver position.

Benson and Brown had not done much during their careers at Alabama and LSU, respectively. However, the coaching staff decided to take a chance on them and prove that their development could pay off in the long run.

While I still have hope in Brown as a player for the future of the program, Malik Benson has transferred over to Oregon, and we will see if the Seminoles just failed by themselves with the experiment.

It looks like Florida State has learned from their lesson as they picked up wide receivers Duce Robinson (USC) and Squirrel White (Tennessee). Both of them have proven production in 2024. I do wonder if the coaching staff will pull the trigger on getting a third wide receiver transfer.

A perfect third would have been former North Carolina State superstar KC Concepcion, who ended up transferring to Texas A&M. He was interested in Florida State but he decided not to visit. Concepcion would have brought an extra dimension to the Seminoles' offense and made opposing defenses have to defend all over the place.
