3 transfers that I wish FSU football brought in, but they went elsewhere

Three transfers that were on my wish list.

Florida State football is trying to erase what it did in 2024. The Seminoles are used to securing conference championships (sorry Miami...) and being in contention for a national championship.

Head football coach Mike Norvell knew this was not the standard at Florida State. It was disappointing to see Norvell fall on his face in the fifth year of his tenure after he had his team rolling in 2023 where they finished with an undefeated regular season and a conference championship.

College football is a wild place. Teams can be great one year and then fall off the face of the Earth during the next one. That is the reality of relying on the transfer portal.

It looks like the failures from 2024 come from a misevaluation of the transfer portal prospects that they brought in. The Seminoles are trying their luck again this offseason as they have already brought in 16 transfers. Here are three transfers that I wish Florida State brought in but went elsewhere.
