Three transfer portal prospects that I want Florida State to pick up.

WR TRU EDWARDS

Let's face it... Florida State's offensive unit was one of the worst in the country during the 2024 season. The quarterbacks were incapable of pushing the football down the field, the running backs could not appropriate lanes, wide receivers could not create separation, and the offensive line was not able to generate any sort of protection.

I already mentioned that North Carolina State wide receiver Kevin Concepcion was a name to monitor, but he seems to be a bit of a long shot since the Alabama Crimson Tide are involved.

With that being said, the Seminoles cannot have a repeat of last year's cycle with transfer wide receivers where Malik Benson and Jalen Brown were less than stellar. While I realize that Duce Robinson is now in the fold, I expect Florida State to get at least three from the portal to go along with some of the young options on the roster.

One name to monitor is Louisiana Tech senior wide receiver transfer Tru Edwards. With the recent JUCO ruling, Edwards has another year of eligibility remaining. This benefits the Seminoles as the talented playmaker could be a useful asset on the outside as a 6'3" and 201-pound pass catcher.

He accumulated 77 receptions for 897 yards and six touchdowns during the 2024 season.
