Let me start by saying that I know there will be a portion of the fan base that will look at this article and despise every word that I am saying about head football coach Mike Norvell.

There is no easy way to sugarcoat this because Florida State football finished with a 2-10 record in 2024, which is unacceptable. The standard of the Seminoles' football program should be one that is filled with competing for conference and national championships.

However, after the season in Dublin versus Georgia Tech, fans probably had a suspicion that things might not go as planned. The 2024 campaign needs to go straight into the trash and be flushed from everyone's memory.

Norvell even knew that it was not the standard, as he alluded to major changes happening after the season. Nonetheless, I am going to do my best to list three reasons why head football coach Mike Norvell should be trusted to turn Florida State around.
