Florida State had the luxury of having an impactful defensive line in 2023 with Jared Verse, Braden Fiske, Fabien Lovett Sr., Joshua Farmer, and Patrick Payton. Then you turn to 2024, where the Seminoles tried to add pieces such as Marvin Jones Jr., Sione Lolohea, Tomiwa Durojaiye, and Grady Kelly, and it just didn't work out.

Florida State's experiment with defensive coordinator Adam Fuller is finally over, as he was fired before the end of the season. As a result, the Seminoles brought in Nebraska defensive coordinator Tony White, who had the Cornhuskers' unit ranked in the top 20.

This move has attracted several players from that defense to enter the transfer portal. It also helps when Nebraska defensive line coach Terrance Knighton has also joined the coaching staff.

In his two seasons at Nebraska, Williams recorded 18 tackles (eight for loss) and seven sacks. Overall, I like the familiarity of playing in the Cornhuskers' 3-3-5 defensive scheme that White runs. However, Florida State is hosting him on an official visit this Monday, but Texas A&M and other schools are knocking on the door if they don't get him to commit then.
