Florida State football had an abysmal season in 2024, where it finished with a 2-10 record. This isn't something that anyone associated with the program wanted. I know that individuals such as Kirk Herbstreit, Paul Finebaum, and Greg McElroy are smiling from ear to ear, though.

Overall, head football coach Mike Norvell knew that it needed to have massive changes to turn the ship around and put it in the right direction. This is a proud Seminoles football program with championship aspirations.

Norvell knew that this was not the standard at Florida State and decided to fire assistant coaches such as Alex Atkins, Adam Fuller, Ron Dugans, and Randy Shannon. Then, the Seminoles brought in Gus Malzahn, Tony White, Evan Cooper, and Terrance Knighton.

Florida State had a successful Early Signing Period where they are currently sitting with the 20th-best recruiting class in the 2025 cycle, according to 247Sports Composite. However, it is reasonable to consider that most of the prospects will not help the Seminoles in 2025.

As a result, Florida State will have to go heavy in the transfer portal once again to get back to respectability. Here are three realistic transfer portal prospects that could allow the Seminoles to be successful in 2025.
