FSU FOOTBALL

Florida State football's fan base is acting like the sky is falling in Tallahassee as the program has suffered two losses in a row to Virginia and Miami. The offense and defense have let the Seminoles down in both defeats.

However, head football coach Mike Norvell is excited with how his team competed in the fourth quarter against Miami, but there comes a point where something has to give. This is not a program that should be used to "moral victories".

As it stands, Pittsburgh will be coming to Tallahassee with a true freshman quarterback, Mason Heintschel, after his performance against Boston College, where he completed 30 of his 41 passes for 323 passing yards and four touchdowns in a 48-7 victory.

The Eagles are one of the worst teams in the ACC, but the Seminoles cannot take the Pittsburgh offense lightly, as this is a must-win opportunity for Florida State. Here are three players on the Seminoles' defense who can set the tone against the Panthers.
