OL MARIO NASH JR.

Florida State's offensive line was very disappointing this year. The position unit was expected to be a bright spot after returning pieces such as Darius Washington, Maurice Smith, and Jeremiah Byers.

Head football coach Mike Norvell even called Washington an "All-American" this past offseason. However, the senior struggled with injuries and inconsistencies at the left tackle position. It was sad to see because the veteran had been such a great piece for the offensive line.

Florida State decided to fire offensive coordinator/offensive line coach Alex Atkins before the season concluded. This frustrated commitments such as Solomon Thomas, Peyton Joseph, and Daniel Pierre-Louis on social media, where they voiced their displeasures.

Even with all three of them backing off their pledges, four-star offensive lineman Mario Nash Jr. decided to stay firm in his pledge. I am excited for Nash Jr. to compete as a true freshman due to his ability to play tackle, guard, and center. Just like Andre Otto, the coaching staff will be able to move him through the offensive line.
