Tre Wisner can dictate the game for Florida State on change of pace reps

Ousmane Kromah may be the leading man for the Seminoles in the backfield, but his counterpart could prove to be a defining weapon for FSU on Saturday.

As Kromah beats down the defense for most of the game, Mike Norvell and company are going to look to Wisner to make the most of his reps while he spells Kromah, a role that Samuel Singleton Jr. played extremely well.

None of this is to say that Wisner is going to outrush anyone, but efficiency from the new man from Texas would go an extremely long way toward keeping the depleted Virginia defense on its heels.

Florida State's run games of the past have generally been dominated by a singular big name, but Mike Norvell's offenses are at their best when numerous players can rotate in and out and put their individual skill sets on display.

Tre Wisner's lack of use early on in the season was a bit of a head-scratcher for most fans, but now he has a chance to prove why Florida State pursued him as aggressively it did in the transfer portal. If Wisner is able to show a fraction of the talent we have seen from him on Saturday, the Seminole offense is going to be rolling right along.
