FSU football will look to become bowl eligible when it travels to Gainesville to face the rival Florida Gators. Florida doesn’t have a head coach and has no shot to make a bowl game, so they will look to prevent FSU from making a bowl game as they did in 2021.

FSU is a +1.5 betting underdog on the road after losing to NC State on the road last week. NC State has a better offense than Florida, and the FSU defense held the Wolfpack well below their season averages. The FSU offense failed to show up like always on the road against a terrible defense.

Florida’s defense is better than NC State's, so it’ll be on the FSU offense to show up for the first time on the road. Hopefully, the FSU defense will continue its steady improvement.

FSU has only allowed 17.2 ppg over the last five games. Some of that is they have played bad offenses, but they have looked better coordinated overall by Tony White.

They will need to show up big for the Noles on the road because there’s no telling if the FSU offense will. Here are three Florida Gator players the FSU defense must contain to have a shot to win.
