Thoughts

I realize that some Florida State fans are worried about Washington jumping to the No. 4 in the updated ranking. However, I believe that if the Seminoles then they are in. With that being, head football coach Mike Norvell and company have to take care of business against arch-rival Florida and Louisville next week in the ACC Championship.

That feat will be even harder without the services of talented signal caller Jordan Travis. While redshirt junior Tate Rodemaker possesses the tools to be successful, Travis was certainly a dynamic playmaker for the offense.

As it relates to the College Football rankings, there is still a long ways to go as No. 1 Georgia will have to get through No. 8 Alabama in the SEC Championship, No. 2 Ohio State and No. 3 Michigan play this week, No. 4 Washington plays No. 6 Oregon in a rematch for the PAC-12 Championship.

While I understand the level of concern, the Seminoles would have wins over three top-25 opponents in Louisville, LSU, and Clemson if they go undefeated.

Florida State continues to follow their motto of “All We Got, All We Need!” While the majority of the college football media does not give them a chance to be successful, they still continue to battle with the best of them.
