Jarrian Jones Was Lights Out

I had never been a believer in Jarrian Jones going into the 2023 season. When he announced he was coming back after last season, I was more like, OK.

However, Jarrian Jones has had a great season and played his last game in Doak Campbell with his hair on fire. Jones finished the game with three tackles.

All three were tackles for a loss. One was a sack that forced a fumble that led to FSU’s first touchdown. Jones also had an interception that gave the offense a short field and eventual touchdown.

Those defensive plays were key, because they seemed to provide a spark to the FSU team after Jordan Travis got carted off the field. Jarrian Jones played a big part in several players deciding to return to FSU after the 2022 season.

It was only fitting he rose to the ocassion in his final game in Doak.
