Thoughts

The game is officially a sellout, which is the fifth consecutive for Doak Campbell Stadium this season. I’m not sure when the last time every home game has been a sellout, likely 2014. It’s a game to enjoy all of the guys playing their final games inside Doak Campbell Stadium.

There is no betting spread for the game since FSU should win by whatever score they want. The hope is that FSU gets a big lead quickly, which will allow the players in their final games to receive the proper admiration they deserve.

It would provide an opportunity for a lot of young players to get some valuable reps in a real game as FSU coaches begin to turn their eyes toward the future. There will be a quarterback competition next season.

Which guy between Tate Rodemaker, AJ Duffy, and Brock Glenn will look the best? Which young receivers will shine? FSU has a ton of young linebackers and defensive backs. What about the young offensive line signed in 2022? Those are the things I’ll be watching on Saturday night.
