FSU football will be taking on the Pittsburgh Panthers in a road contest on Saturday, November 4th at 3:30 PM EST.

In the offseason, some fans raised their concerns about this game given that head football coach Pat Narduzzi emphasized physicality with his teams, the weather could be colder, and it look be a look ahead spot for the Seminoles with the arch-rival Miami Hurricanes on deck.

The Panthers have been very underwhelming this season where they have possessed a 2-6 record with losses over Cincinnati, West Virginia, North Carolina, Virginia Tech, Wake Forest, and Notre Dame.

However, Pittsburgh has the potential to create havoc for opposing teams as they surprisingly gave Louisville their first loss of the season by a score of 38-21.

Head football coach Mike Norvell and company understand what’s at stake as the Seminoles are currently No. 4 in the updated College Football Playoff rankings.

Quarterback Jordan Travis will be looking to lead his team to victory against a Pittsburgh defensive unit that allows 218.4 passing yards per game (53rd in the FBS).

But it could be a difficult task for running back Trey Benson and the rushing attack as their defense averages seven tackles for loss per game (17th in the FBS). Nonetheless, Florida State should be able to find success with utilizing ultra-talented wide receiver Keon Coleman.

CHOPCHAT STAFF SCORE PREDICTIONS

•Taylor Devers: 45-17 FSU

•Kelvin Hunt: 41-10 FSU

•Jason Zang: 49-10 FSU

Are we even surprised that our staff at ChopChat has predicted the Seminoles to win once again? As a wise man once said: “If it ain’t broke then don’t fix it”. Florida State has its eyes on the prize as they look to continue to impress the College Football Playoff selection committee.

Seminole fans were in full effect in last week’s road matchup against Wake Forest. Hopefully, the spectators in the garnet and gold, that are in attendance, will exit Acrisure Stadium in a joyful mood on Saturday afternoon.
