Cam’Ron Fletcher is back!

Only 10 games into the 2022-23 season, Cam’Ron Fletcher went down with a right knee injury. In his small sample, he showed himself an energizing player who brought passion and toughness on both sides of the floor.

Missing Fletcher’s energy on the court played a pivotal role in the Noles’ disappointing season. However, Fletcher made his return on Sunday. With a huge knee brace protecting his right knee, the senior forward was ready to compete.

Fletcher was a part of the second unit of Leonard Hamilton’s team. As the coaching staff kept track of his minutes, Fletcher was a difference-maker every time he stepped on the floor. When the Seminoles went down in the third quarter, Fletcher gave them a lift with great defensive stops followed by strong finishes on offense. Due to his energy, the Seminoles found a way to retake the lead.

Fletcher finished the contest with 13 points. While it was only an exhibition event, he continued to show his value on both ends of the floor. Fletcher’s performance showed how great his off-season was, as far as rehab and continuing his development.
