Five-star DL LJ McCray

As I alluded to in a previous article, the Florida State Seminoles could have a legitimate chance of landing five-star defensive lineman LJ McCray from Mainland High School in Daytona Beach, Florida. The talented defender will be making his decision on Saturday, October 21st between five schools: Florida State, Florida, Georgia, Miami, and Auburn.

McCray made his way down to Tallahassee for an official visit on the weekend of October 7th where the Seminoles defeated the Virginia Tech Hokies by a score of 39-17. Some individuals thought that he was considered a Florida lean, but he opted to wait on making an announcement until he officially visited with Florida State.

While it isn’t set in stone given the uncertainty in the landscape of recruiting, the Seminoles seem to have the utmost confidence in being able to land the do-it-all Mainland High School standout.
