FSU football currently ranks No. 6 in the 2024 247Sports Composite rankings with 21 prospects committed to their class. The Seminoles are not finished with constructing the future of their program. The coaching staff will likely acquire four or five more to round out the recruiting class.

The perception of some individuals outside the program suggested that head football coach Mike Norvell and company could not recruit and could only obtain talent via the transfer portal. However, doubters are beginning to be proven wrong as Florida State has become a designation for high school recruits.
