FSU football is coming off a 39-17 home victory over the Virginia Tech Hokies.

Notable players that stood out versus the Hokies were running back Trey Benson, running back Lawrance Toafili, wide receiver Johnny Wilson, defensive end Jared Verse, linebacker Kalen DeLoach, and safety Conrad Hussey.

This marks the Seminoles’ third conference win of the 2023 season. Head football coach Mike Norvell and company will now play the second of their three-game home stand in the friendly confines of Doak Campbell Stadium against the Syracuse Orange in a sleepy noon kickoff (get your 7AM alcoholic beverages ready for the breakfast tailgate).

Florida State currently ranks No. 4 in the updated AP Poll. The Seminoles will attempt to make a statement for all of those individuals that have doubted them. While it hasn’t been perfect, FSU has continued to sting together wins on their schedule and will look to become 6-0 after Saturday.

In this article, I will focus on three impact players that Seminole fans should monitor versus Syracuse.
