No. 4 FSU football will host the Syracuse Orange on Saturday afternoon for the opportunity to move to 6-0 overall and 4-0 in conference play.

The Noles have played one of the toughest schedules in the country, although many media members continue to disregard that fact.

They have covered the betting spread in three of their five games(and likely could have covered against Virginia Tech if they didn’t put the backups in and decided to run the ball every play).

They will enter the Syracuse game as -17.5 betting favorites and favored to win in the ballpark of 37-19, with a points total of 56.5. FSU had its best start to a game all season when they blitzed the Virginia Tech Hokies 22-0 in the first quarter.

The offense and defense played complementary football to the highest level and looked like they were on their way to 29-0 before a few bad calls kept Virginia Tech alive.

Nevertheless, the Noles continue to search for the perfect game and have played at an elite level in a few spurts this season.

Can they put it all together against Syracuse? Here are three things to look for in Saturday’s contest.
