FSU football has already made its presence felt in the 2025 recruiting cycle with having two commitments in the fold with three-star quarterback Tramell Jones Jr. and three-star wide receiver DL Hardison.

However, the Seminoles are far from finished with constructing their recruiting class as notable prospects remain on their target board such as:

•Five-star DE Zion Grady

•Four-star RB Alvin Henderson

•Four-star OT Solomon Thomas

•Four-star OT Ziyare Addison

•Four-star DE Jalen Wiggins

•Four-star LB Jadon Perlotte (UGA commit)

•Four-star LB Gavin Nix

•Four-star CB Antonio Branch Jr.

Talented RB Visiting Tallahassee

Class of 2025 four-star running back target Alvin Henderson from Elba High School in Elba, Alabama will be visiting during the Seminoles’ contest against the Syracuse Orange on Saturday. This is noteworthy considering that FSU will be playing in a noon time slot against an Orange team that was dominated by the North Carolina Tar Heels by a score of 40-7.

Given that Henderson is from the state of Alabama, it is important to mention that the Crimson Tide have a home matchup against the Arkansas Razorbacks at noon. However, he has elected to go to the Seminoles’ home game instead.

The talented back is a prospect that this coaching staff have to continue to pursue aggressively. The home-state Auburn Tigers remain a serious threat to obtain his services.

During the 2022 season, he had 195 rushing attempts for 2,636 yards and 47 touchdowns (no… that was not a typo). He has wreaked havoc on opposing defenses.

Running backs coach David Johnson has had a high level of success with acquiring high quality talent at his respective position. The Seminoles have already secured two commitments in the 2024 recruiting cycle with four-stars Kameron Davis and Micahi Danzy.

There is a possibility that current running back Trey Benson could depart for the NFL at the conclusion of this season. As a result, FSU will need to retool its position room with an influx of talent such as Henderson.
