S Conrad Hussey

Former Class of 2023 four-star defensive back prospect Conrad Hussey from St. Thomas Aquinas High School really made his impact felt on Saturday afternoon. Even though Hussey could not enroll with the Seminoles until the summer, that has not stopped from becoming a contributor in year one.

The safety position has been classified as a unit that needed depth. The overall depth has been tested with veteran Akeem Dent out of the lineup due to an injury. As a result, the coaching staff has been able to insert other players in the lineup.

In terms of Hussey, he delivered a massive hit on the Virginia Tech running back on a swing pass that reminded some fans about Greg Reid’s hit stick on South Carolina’s Marcus Lattimore. Could we see Hussey have more opportunities as the season progresses?
