FSU football: Q&A with 2024 4-star ATH KingJoseph Edwards

FSU football will hosting a multitude of visitors during this weekend’s home matchup against the Virginia Tech Hokies.

One notable visitor that announced his intentions of being at the contest was Class of 2024 four-star ATH KingJoseph Edwards from Mill Creek High School in Hoschton, Georgia.

We at ChopChat decided to conduct a Q&A with the talented prospect before he embarks on his unofficial visit at Tallahassee to know more about him as a person and a prospect.

Q: What/who inspired you to play the game of football?

A: “I was running down the street in maybe fourth grade and a coach in my neighborhood saw me running and offered me a scholarship to play for his team.”

Q: What are some hobbies/interests that you have when you are away from the football field?

A: “I like helping the underprivileged. I give clothing, food & toiletries on a regular basis. Also spending time with my family and friends.”

Q: I know that you play both DE and TE, but what is FSU recruiting you as?

A: “DE.”

Q: When you communicate with the FSU staff, who do you speak to the most? What stands out the most to you about the Seminoles?

A: “Coach Fuller. They are hard working but more than anything, the persistence and time that Coach Norvell has invested in the team”

Q: I saw that you mentioned that you will be visiting FSU tomorrow for their game against Virginia Tech. What are you most looking forward to on the visit?

A: “Speaking to Coach Fuller and Coach Norvell. I saw them play two weeks ago at Clemson, so basically I watched the defense and saw where I fit in.”
