Florida State Seminoles wide receiver Destyn Hill (7) warms up before kickoff at Camping World Stadium on Sunday, Sept. 3, 2023. /

WR Destyn Hill

The man, the myth, the legend Destyn Hill. Many individuals initially thought the Edna Karr High School standout would never make it to Tallahassee after his enrollment was delayed due to personal reasons.

However, Hill has fought through high levels of adversity to get where he is today. Even though he is listed as a true freshman (Hill was a four-star prospect from the Class of 2021), he is matured his frame and skillset since taking the two-year break. Unfortunately, media members thought that Hill would be a big factor this season. But he has not been much of a priority so far where he has one reception for 18 yards. There have been times where the Louisiana native has been open down the middle of the field, but the offense has elected to go downfield to Keon Coleman and Johnny Wilson.

Here’s to hoping that Hill gets involved sooner rather than later.
