FSU football has already done a nice job of attracting highly-touted recruits in a positive manner, especially after securing victories over the likes of LSU and Clemson.

The coaching staff already has its quarterback of the future in the 2025 recruiting cycle in three-star Tramell Jones Jr. from Mandarin High School in Jacksonville (FL) and a speedster playmaker in three-star wide receiver DL Hardison from Eau Gallie High School in Melbourne (FL).

The Seminoles’ offense has showcased the ability to be explosive with the multitude of weapons at its disposal. This speaks volumes to a variety of talented prospects looking to possibly take their talents to Tallahassee.

Florida State will play the Virginia Tech Hokies on Saturday at 3:30 p.m. in Doak Campbell Stadium. Given that it has been three weeks since the Seminoles’ last home game, this could be a prime opportunity for prospects to visit Tallahassee.

On Monday morning, Class of 2025, four-star UCF running back commit Taevion Swint from Osceola High School in Kissimmee (FL) announced that he will be unofficially visiting FSU’s campus this weekend.

The talented back was in attendance for the Seminoles’ 45-24 blowout victory over the LSU Tigers earlier this season.

Swint has been committed to the Knights since April 14th. However, the Seminoles have had success recruiting for the position, given that four-star Kameron Davis and Micahi Danzy from the 2024 recruiting cycle have pledged their commitments to the university.

It has been highly publicized that the rushing attack has not been as efficient this season, with running back Trey Benson only having 40 rushing attempts for 189 yards and four touchdowns through four games. Plus, reserve Rodney Hill has 18 attempts for 103 yards and zero touchdowns.

While the ground game for FSU has not been up to the standard that most fans would like, this is still a football team that likes to establish the run to be successful on the offensive side.

With Swint unofficially visiting this weekend, this could be a perfect opportunity for the Seminoles to get back on track in the rushing department against a Virginia Tech defense that ranks 122nd in the FBS in rushing yards allowed (212.5).
