Four-star DT Artavius Jones (Miami commit)

You might be wondering why I included two defensive linemen back-to-back on the five prospects to monitor to list. The truth of the matter is acquiring more defensive lineman prospects in this recruiting class is that important for the future of the program.

Four-star defensive tackle Artavius Jones from Blountstown High School in Blountstown, Florida, is a target the Seminoles really desire to have in this recruiting class. However, Jones has been committed to the arch-rival Miami Hurricanes since the month of July. However, the coaching staff needs to continue to pursue the talented defender, and ensure that he will be visiting Tallahassee for the big showdown against the Hurricanes on November 11th.

If FSU football finds a way to beat head football coach Mario Cristobal and company, it could go a long way in acquiring the services of the four-star defender.
