Four-star DL LJ McCray

The Florida State Seminoles have two defensive linemen committed to their recruiting class, which is somewhat worrisome, given that they will most likely lose the services of defensive linemen like Fabien Lovett Sr., Braden Fiske, Jared Verse, Dennis Briggs Jr., and possibly even Darrell Jackson at the conclusion of the 2023 season.

One of the top defensive lineman prospects on the recruiting board is four-star LJ McCray from Mainland High School in Daytona Beach, Florida. The Seminoles are battling it out with schools such as Florida, Georgia, Auburn, Miami, among others for his services. However, it looks as though he is giving FSU a fighter’s chance, considering that he will be officially visiting Tallahassee during their matchup against Virginia Tech on the weekend of October 7th.

This will be a monumental visit for the ‘Noles to potentially reel in one of the more talented defenders left on their recruiting board.
