No. 4 FSU football has traveled to Clemson to take on the Tigers in their second consecutive road game this season. FSU survived an upset bid by Boston College last week as they relaxed with a 31-10 lead near the end of the third quarter. It was a weird game and some of the team was sick.

The Tigers are 2-1, losing against Duke and defeating Charleston Southern and FAU. Clemson has dominated the series lately, beating FSU every season since 2015(there was no game in 2020 because Wuhan Dabo brought a player with COVID on the trip to Tallahassee).

Here’s a look at the TV/streaming information and game time as No. 4 FSU travels to Clemson and Memorial Stadium on Sep. 23rd, with the kickoff time set for noon ET.

This game features the Noles as 2-point betting favorites, with an over/under points total of 55. That total implies a 29-26 FSU win.

FSU has played Clemson tough the past two seasons, despite having the lesser talented team. The last time the Noles went up to Death Valley, it was 3:30 kickoff and the Noles held a lead late into the fourth quarter before Clemson scored the go-ahead touchdown with 2:53 remaining. FSU suffered some self-inflicted wounds in their loss last season, which made their comeback bid come up short after getting down 31-14 early in the third quarter.

This game will be the first time the two teams are on equal footing from a talent perspective, and many folks may have doubts about FSU after their performance against Boston College. However, they looked elite against LSU in the second half of their season opener. If that version of FSU shows up? It’ll be an encore of the 2013 team that went up to Death Valley and blew the doors off the Tigers.
