FSU football didn’t play well on the road against Clemson (especially offensively) but somehow found a way to win the game 31-24 in overtime.
The FSU defense put the offense in position to take the lead early in the game, but the offense couldn’t get going. It was a weird game for the defense.
They had a ton of missed tackles that cost them, but Clemson made some tough plays with FSU players all over them to convert a couple of third downs.
The FSU offense finally got going towards the end of the second half, scoring a touchdown to trim Clemson’s lead to 17-14 at the half. The offense scored a field goal on its first possession in the second half to tie the game 17-17.

Big win. Still haven’t played our best game and clean up the running game. Team plays hard for Mike and has grit

Had to leave the house after regulation to take Wyatt to a friends. Change in location helped. You all are welcome! Go Noles!

Just said this to someone else. At the end of the day we’ve played the two most talented teams we have on the schedule and we stand 4-0. Notice i didn’t say the best (necessarily) but definitely don’t see another team with that level of talent till the post season.

The second half saw the FSU defense repeatedly give the offense opportunities to take the lead, but finally took matters into their own hands by scoring a touchdown on a 56-yard fumble return to tie the game 24-24 with 31 seconds remaining in the third quarter.
The FSU defense held Clemson scoreless for the final 15 minutes in regulation and got the stop on Clemson’s overtime possession. FSU football fans were vocal in this dislike for Adam Fuller during the broadcast on social media, but ultimately, the game was won by the defense.
However, credit must go to the offense for coming through with a touchdown on its first possession in overtime. FSU scoring a touchdown first put a lot of pressure on Clemson’s offense, and ultimately they couldn’t handle the pressure.
It was a huge win for the Noles and FSU fans celebrated the win on social media. The Noles beat LSU and Clemson as I predicted before the season and will have a bye-week next week. It will come at a perfect time with many FSU players dealing with injuries, including FSU quarterback Jordan Travis. Enjoy the win!
