FSU football is preparing for one of its most important games of the season as they travel on the road to Death Valley to take on the unranked Clemson Tigers for a noon kickoff on ABC set for Saturday, September 23rd.

The Seminoles are looking to bounce back after their near fourth-quarter collapse against the Boston College Eagles last Saturday. However, fans have discussed the topic repeatedly, and it seems as though this football team is looking to turn the page and get back on the right track.

There is no better opportunity to do so than beating the Clemson Tigers, who have beaten the Seminoles every year since 2014. Head football coach Dabo Swinney and company have won the ACC seven out of the last eight years and have been recently considered the standard of the conference.

As a wise man once said: “To be the champ, you have to beat the champ”. FSU has all the pieces to be successful when they are led by do-it-all quarterback Jordan Travis, a multitude of offensive weapons, a solid offensive line, elite pass rusher Jared Verse, and so much more. If it isn’t this year, when will the Seminoles finally be able to take back the conference?

As we inch closer and closer to Saturday’s matchup, I wanted to showcase three impact players on the Seminoles’ roster that they will need to be successful.
