4. LB Blake Nichelson

Yes, I am aware listing a true freshman linebacker on this list is bold. However, the Manteca (Ca.) native made a great impression during his lone appearance against the Southern Miss Golden Eagles. He recorded five tackles and almost came away with a spectacular interception in coverage. The linebacker trio of Tatum Bethune, Kalen DeLoach, and DJ Lundy have been very solid thus far this season. However, the Seminoles need to prepare for life without Bethune and DeLoach after this season, who are both redshirt seniors.

While linebacker Omar Graham Jr. has showcased flashes of what he could become as a player, the coaching staff needs to evaluate everyone they have in the room to see who complements the best when paired alongside veteran DJ Lundy.

The former four-star prospect could certainly be a pivotal piece in the rotation. Mike Norvell had alluded in his press conference after the victory against Southern Miss that he expects Nichelson to play for them this season.
