FSU Is Overrated

I know rival fans will use this game to say FSU is overrated. However, top teams have these type of games all the time. Georgia was losing 14-3 at halftime against a poor South Carolina team.

Alabama struggled to beat South Florida, and Texas struggled to beat a poor Wyoming team at home.

We could argue FSU hasn’t earned the right to look past a team like Boston College, but there was a lot going on this week with the team unsure of what would happen with Hurricane Lee.

FSU had some guys under the weather last week, and it’s possible some guys are still under the weather since they all share the same locker room. FSU smoked an LSU team that looks like they’ve found themselves since week one.

We’ve seen FSU play at an elite level. We’ve seen the FSU offense not look crisp and need to go to multiple third and fourth downs against Southern Miss. We’ve seen the defense not get off the field on third downs against Boston College.

All of the issues we’ve seen over the past two weeks are fixable and comes down to execution. They need to do it next week against Clemson to quite the doubters like they did against LSU.
