Heavily Penalized Team

One of the reasons Boston College is so bad, aside from not having much talent on the roster?

They can’t get out of their way with penalties. Boston College has been penalized 20 times for 202 yards in the first two games.

Remember how badly the referees were in the FSU opener against LSU? The Noles have still only been penalized 10 times for 109 yards, and likely 3-4 of those penalties have been bogus.

Many of the penalties against Boston College have been for offensive holding, false starts, defensive pass interference, and more.

Their offense is already limited with a lack of playmakers at the skill position and inexperience at quarterback.

It’ll be hard enough for their offense to do much against the FSU front seven, and they definitely will be in trouble if they consistently get behind the chains because of penalties.
