FSU football: Top 10 bold predictions for 2023 season
By Kelvin Hunt
FSU Football beat Miami and Florida to claim another state championship
I understand this isn’t necessarily bold with FSU completing the task(as I predicted last year), but it’s still relatively hard to do. I would have predicted this before Florida’s opening game loss against Utah and their backup QB.
I don’t think Miami was particularly impressive against Miami, Ohio. However, both programs have major question marks. Florida has a new quarterback and new defensive coordinator. Miami has new offensive and defensive coordinators.
Both programs took players from the portal to put band-aids on broken bones. FSU will host Miami, but travel to Gainesville.
The Noles haven’t won in Gainesville since 2017, when James Blackman was the starting quarterback as a freshman.
The Noles destroyed Miami last season, and Mario Cristobal knows he can’t afford another loss to the Noles in year two. The same goes for Billy Napier, so FSU will get both team’s best shot.
