November 4th @ Pittsburgh

If you’ve been reading the site for a while, you know I don’t think much of QB Phil Jurkovec. He transferred to Pitt from Boston College to reunite with his former offensive coordinator.

FSU took care of this same combo with relative ease in 2021 on the road at Boston College.

Pat Narduzzi is a conservative head coach who likes to run the ball and play defense. Pitt lost a lot from their defensive line that was stout against the run last year and only return five starters. They also lost their top running back.

Pitt has been a solid program over the past few seasons, even winning the ACC a couple of seasons ago. It’ll be a hard-fought, physical game on the road, but FSU shouldn’t lose this game unless they turn it over multple times.

Scoring Prediction: FSU 34, Pittsburgh, 24

Win Share: .80

Projected 2023 Record: 9-0
