FSU football has one of the most talented rosters in all of college football.

Their lofty expectations of the 2023 season include an ACC Championship Game appearance and even a potential College Football Playoff berth, as the Seminoles accomplished their 25th 10-win season in program history.

It is difficult not to fill with excitement with FSU’s roster, given that the offense features quarterback Jordan Travis, running back Trey Benson, wide receivers Johnny Wilson and Keon Coleman, and tight end Jaheim Bell.

The defensive unit is equally as talented where they have key pieces such as defensive ends Jared Verse and Patrick Payton, defensive tackles Fabien Lovett Sr. and Braden Fiske, linebackers Tatum Bethune and Kalen DeLoach, cornerback Renardo Green, and safety Akeem Dent.

Fans know about the key contributors that will likely make their presence felt this season. However, there is always surprising contributors that are viewed as underrated because their expectations are not as high.

As we are now eight days away from Florida State’s 2023 season opener against the LSU Tigers on Sunday, September 3rd, in Orlando, Florida, I feel it is appropriate to mention three underrated contributors that fans should pay attention to.
