QB Play

I know I said these were in no particular order, but the play of Jordan Travis will ultimately determine how far this team goes in 2023.

I will continue to say it, but the offense will determine the ultimate success or failures of this team, just as it did last year. I am extremely curious to see how much Mike Norvell and Alex Atkins put on the shoulders of Jordan Travis.

Will they get more pass happy with so many weapons? Will they use him a little bit more in the run game to give opposing defenses something else to think about.

He proved he could make it through a full season relatively healthy and played smart to avoid big hits. He’s added some bulk to his frame, which should also help his durability. Mike Norvell has had lesser quarterbacks put up insane numbers in his offense.

They put more on Jordan’s shoulders last year, and we saw the production increase significantly, especially through the air. What if they put a similar load on him to what Bobby Petrino did Lamar Jackson?

If he could stay healthy in that case, I’d give him a good chance to lead FSU to the College Football Playoffs and win the Heisman.
