. DE. Wharton HS, Tampa, FL. BOOKER PICKETT JR.. 4-Star

Four-star Tampa product Booker Pickett Jr. released a top five recently, with FSU squarely in the mix. Pickett Jr. was on campus in late June as his younger brother worked out and earned and offer from the coaching staff.

Pickett Jr. has family ties to Miami and Ohio State, and hasn’t used any of his official visits. He’ll likely visit FSU during the season.

He ranks as the No. 190 player and No. 13 EDGE nationally. He lists at 6’3″ and 208 pounds. FSU will battle Miami, Ohio State, Georgia, and South Carolina for his commitment.

However, Georgia’s class may be filled and I’m not sure the Florida product would leave to go play college ball at South Carolina.

It could be a FSU, Miami, and Ohio State battle.

However, the Gamecocks landed five-star EDGE player Dylan Stewart recently. Booker Pickett Jr would be a need since FSU only has one defensive end committed now.
