FSU football coaches have made waves in recruiting over the past month with double-digit commits, with the majority blue-chip players. However, the last two five-star commits over the past week have made statements to the rest of the college football world.

The Noles have 22 commits in its 2024 recruiting class, so much for the narrative Mike Norvell can’t recruit top high school players.

The majority of these players, 17 of 22, are from Georgia and Florida, and the Noles only have a few select spots remaining before they can’t take any more players.

They have addressed every position on the roster so far, but there are a couple of needs remaining, with the rest as luxury pieces. If the Noles don’t land the luxury pieces, they’ll likely hit the transfer portal to supplement the high school recruiting like they’ve been doing.

What’s evident is FSU is slowly taking more high-quality prep players each recruiting cycle while continuing to supplement through the portal.

This cycle could be the biggest prep recruiting class in the Mike Norvell era. Let’s look at the top five remaining targets and see where we stand.
