FSU football sent shockwaves through the recruiting world Saturday night when they received a commitment from five-star athlete KJ Bolden.

It was the second five-star commitment for Mike Norvell within the last week, and the Noles have gone from top 15 to No. 4 nationally in the last month.

FSU fans are still trying to recover from that 2018-2021 period of suck and struggle to believe any good news will come their way. However, we’ve seen this machine get built piece by piece by Mike Norvell, and it’s the same thing KJ Bolden saw.

Think of it this way, KJ Bolden received his FSU offer in the middle of the pandemic in 2020, over three years ago. He has seen the same thing we saw, from three wins in year one, to winning 10 games last year.

The latter part was of extreme importance because that was something Mike Norvell told Bolden would happen, and it did. It becomes easier to trust someone when they deliver on what they say.

It also becomes easier when he hires a guy that’s competed at the highest-level in Patrick Surtain. It becomes even easier when that team was your favorite growing up. Let’s talk about how this KJ Bolden commitment impacts FSU.
