FSU football is one of the most storied programs in their short history and have taken on all comers. However, they have played and never beaten only a handful of programs.

The teams FSU has played and never lost to was quite extensive, with a couple of big time programs listed with multiple losses.

Has FSU beaten every team they’ve lined up against over the years? Absolutely not, and the list of teams FSU has never beaten is almost smaller than the number of points Miami scored against the Noles last year.

Most of these games took place before most of us were born. However, there is a couple that still brings back haunting memories of a time we’d all like to forget as FSU fans.

Who has the FSU football team played but never beaten?

It’s a short list, and ironically all of these teams are west of the Mississippi River. Two of these losses took place in El Paso, Texas, and two more took place in California. Only of these losses took place at Doak Campbell Stadium.
