Secondary

FSU has taken its share of defensive backs from the transfer portal, and none were more impactful than Jammie Robinson, who got drafted by the Carolina Panthers earlier this year.

FSU still has some transfers roaming in the secondary with Jarrian Jones, Greedy Vance, and newcomer Fentrell Cypress.

FSU could lose some players from the secondary after the 2023 season. Renardo Green, Jones, Akeem Dent, and Cypress.

However, the Noles signed a ton of guys in the 2023 recruiting cycle. Here’s a list of former prep guys that could see the field soon:

  • AZ Thomas (2022 blue-chip signee)
  • Conrad Hussey (2023 blue-chip signee)
  • KJ Kirkland (2023 three-star signee)
  • Edwin Joseph (2023 three-star signee)
  • Jabril Rawls (2023 three-star signee)
  • Quindarrius Jones (2023 three-star signee)
  • Ashland Barker (2023 three-star signee)

FSU has three players committed in the 2024 recruiting class and will likely sign some more high-quality players.
