Linebacker

The linebacker position is frustrating fans, especially in the recruiting department. However, the Noles will return one of the top linebacker units in the ACC, with Kalen DeLoach and Tatum Bethune.

Both players will likely exit the program after this season, which is why the Noles took so many linebackers in the 2023 recruiting cycle.

They are flirting with a transfer from Northwestern, who entered the portal after signing in 2023. He would essentially be a freshman like the other three that signed in the last recruiting cycle. Veteran linebacker DJ Lundy will likely return in 2024 and will team up with a combination of the guys below:

Here are the high school players that will likely be contributors in 2024:

  • Omar Graham (2022 three-star signee)
  • Blake Nichelson (2023 four-star signee)
  • DeMarco Ward (2023 three-star signee)
  • Dylan Turner-Brown (2023 three-star signee)

FSU has one three-star linebacker committed for the 2024 recruiting class.
