FSU football fans got a taste of what it’s like to return to prominence last season with the first 10 win season since 2016.

I was bullish on FSU, expecting at least eight wins in the regular season, and the Noles overdelivered with nine regular season wins.

As with any type of success, expectations have grown even more, and the Noles will likely begin the 2023 season ranked inside the top 10.

The program is moving in the right direction, and Mike Norvell continues to plug holes on the roster with players from the transfer portal while developing young players. There are fewer questions about this team compared to last season.

This team is much more talented and has better depth at nearly every position, save a couple. It’s the third consecutive season they have had an offseason in the Josh Storms strength and conditioning program.

I think the biggest question is, overall, how much better is each position group compared to last year? Let’s take a look at each.
