FSU football: Ten recruits FSU needs to sign in 2024 recruiting class
FSU football fans and some media have been quite critical when discussing linebacker recruiting. While the Seminoles landed the services of four-star Blake Nichelson, three-star DeMarco Ward, and three-star Dylan Brown-Turner during the last recruiting cycle, depth at the position has become a talking point.
Sophomore tight end Brian Courtney has moved over to the linebacker position. The Seminoles saw a quality reserve in Brendan Gant transfer out of the program this offseason, which seems to have the coaching staff rely more on redshirt freshman Omar Graham Jr. this offseason.
Redshirt senior starters Kalen DeLoach and Tatum Bethune will have exhausted their eligibilities after this upcoming season. As a result, younger players will need to emerge alongside redshirt junior DJ Lundy. FSU already has three-star linebacker Jayden Parrish committed to their 2024 cycle, but adding a second prospect would do wonders for the depth in the position room.
Four-star Michael Boganowski has emerged as a prioritized target for the coaching staff. He unofficially visited the Seminoles last month (was originally planned to be an official visit). It looks as though FSU will try to get him on an official visit during the season.
The home-state Kansas State Wildcats are the team to beat for acquiring his services.
