FSU football: Four 2024 blue-chip prospects trending to the Noles

FSU football currently ranks No. 25 in the 2024 247Sports Composite rankings.

The Seminoles currently have the following prospects committed to their recruiting class:

•Five-star TE Landen Thomas

•Four-star QB Luke Kromenhoek

•Four-star RB Kameron Davis

•Four-star WR Camdon Frier

•Four-star WR BJ Gibson

•Four-star WR Lawayne McCoy

•Four-star WR TJ Abrams

•Four-star S CJ Heard

•Three-star DT Jamorie Flagg

•Three-star LB Jayden Parrish

•Three-star K Jake Weinberg

The fact is FSU has not secured a commitment in their recruiting class since five-star Landen Thomas flipped his pledge from Georgia to Florida State on April 17, 2023.

This lull has made Seminole fans frustrated with the lack of prospects committing lately. The arch-rival Florida Gators have been performing well on the recruiting trail where they rank No. 4 in the 247Sports Composite rankings. Even the Miami Hurricanes have gotten four commitments during June.

FSU fans seem to be hitting the panic button prematurely as the Seminoles’ coaching staff is looking to close on some of their pivotal prospects that will decide this summer.
