FSU football is currently ranked at No. 20 in the 2024 247Sports Composite rankings.

That might be worrisome to some individuals, but the Seminoles are trending in a positive direction for some highly-touted prospects that will be making their decisions in July.

Plus, the talk of the offseason has been about arch-rival Florida Gators, who ranks No. 4 in the recruiting rankings. As a Seminole fan, it makes me sick thinking about the Gators being successful in anything, but you have to give them some credit for their efforts in the trail.

FSU fans want to know the bigger question: When will the Seminoles get a commitment?

Well, it might actually be sooner than you expect. As I mentioned in a previous article, five-star offensive tackle target Jonathan Daniels from Pine Forest High School in Pensacola, Florida has been trending in FSU’s favor for quite some time.

Daniels officially visited the Seminoles this past weekend and seemed to absolutely love the experience.

It seemed to be all smiles for Daniels as he was chopping it up with head football coach Mike Norvell and offensive coordinator/offensive line coach Alex Atkins while wearing the all-white uniform combination.

Typically, the all-white uniform combination means that the prospect is trending in a very positive direction for the Seminoles.

Daniels received two new crystal ball predictions in favor of FSU today from Noles247 Contributor Zach Blostein and CatsPause Kentucky Insider Josh Edwards. He now has four predictions for the Seminoles at this time.

While Daniels does not have a definitive timetable, a decision could be coming sooner rather than later.

Unfortunately, FSU struck out off two of its top three offensive lineman targets, as four-star offensive tackle Manasse Itete and four-star interior offensive lineman Jason Zandamela both committed to USC.

The coaching staff cannot afford to let Daniels commit elsewhere. It’s time for the Seminoles to lock in and finish this recruitment off.
