FSU football: June big official visitor weekend is finally here
Uncommitted prospects
The Seminoles are looking to build momentum in their recruiting class as nine uncommitted prospects have made their way to campus.
Prospects trending elsewhere
While some prospects have committed elsewhere/canceled their visits, such as four-star offensive tackle Manasse Itete (committed to USC), four-star interior offensive lineman Jason Zandamela (committed to USC), four-star defensive tackle Nasir Johnson (committed to Florida), four-star defensive end Dylan Stephenson (committed to Stanford), and four-star safety Ricardo Jones (canceled FSU visit; trending to Clemson), the Seminoles still have a talented bunch coming in.
Prospects trending to FSU
In terms of prospects that FSU leads for, five-star offensive tackle Jonathan Daniels, four-star running back Micahi Danzy, and four-star tight end Kylan Fox all have crystal ball predictions in favor of the Seminoles.
Madison II joining FSU?
All of them will be deciding in the month of July. Four-star wide receiver target James Madison II will make his intentions known on July 4th. Will the Seminoles be willing to take a fifth pass catcher in their recruiting class?
Most of that conversation depends on what transpires with four-star wide receiver commit TJ Abrams, who has been trending positively for the arch-rival Florida Gators. Four-stars Zion Ragins and Elijah Moore seem to be guys the coaching staff like, but how much will they push to acquire their services?
Time to worry about DE recruiting?
FSU currently does not have a defensive end committed to their class. I already mentioned four-star Dylan Stephenson committed to the Stanford Cardinal. Can the Seminoles move the needle for four-star defensive end Daniel “DD” Holmes from Washington, DC? For reference, this is his second FSU visit in the past two months.
Is Solomon a lean to FSU?
Even with five-star cornerback Charles Lester III being the talk of the recruiting class, the Seminoles are looking to potentially get three prospects at the position. One prospect they are very high on is four-star cornerback Jalewis Solomon, who wore the all-white uniform combination *insert eye emojis*. He has made it to Tallahassee on numerous occasions, and the interest certainly feels mutual.
Is Hylton a take?
Lastly, three-star offensive tackle Tye Hylton made the trip to Tallahassee. Hylton is a prospect that the coaching staff wants to evaluate more. Five-star Jonathan Daniels is at the top of their wishlist of offensive lineman targets, but can they pair Hylton alongside him? FSU was the second program to offer the Oviedo native. With Zandamela and Itete committing elsewhere, does that open the door for the Seminoles to aggressively pursue for Hylton?
