FSU football has already made its presence known with their 2025 recruiting class, where they have two prospects committed in four-star wide receiver DL Hardison and three-star quarterback Tramell Jones Jr.

With FSU football potentially performing at a championship level during the 2023 season, this could allow the 2025 recruiting class to skyrocket into something truly remarkable.

Ffrench decision is around the corner

On Friday afternoon, the coaching staff received some great news as Class of 2025 five-star wide receiver target Jaime Ffrench from Mandarin High School in Jacksonville, Florida, announced that he will be making his commitment announcement on July 22.

Ffrench is a top wide receiver target for the Seminoles in the 2025 recruiting cycle. He has already visited FSU twice this spring on April 1st and June 10th, for the Elite Camp event, where all of the top prospects on the Seminoles’ recruiting target board competed.

Mandarin to Tallahassee?

It certainly helps that the Jacksonville native is high school teammates with three-star quarterback commit Tramell Jones. The dynamic duo had a successful 2022 campaign where the pass catcher had 44 receptions for 671 yards and five touchdowns.

Teams to monitor in the recruitment

The Seminoles have their hands full in the recruitment as teams such as Alabama, Georgia, Penn State, Ohio State, Ole Miss, Virginia Tech, Louisville, and others have communicated with him.
He recently unofficially visited the Alabama Crimson Tide on June 6th, which could be a team to monitor for the Seminoles.

Wide receiver prospect outlook

FSU football has loaded up on talented playmakers at the wide receiver position. While Florida State already has secured four receiver commitments in four-star Camdon Frier, BJ Gibson, TJ Abrams, and Lawayne McCoy within this recruiting cycle, it should not impact the pursuit of Ffrench in the 2025 recruiting cycle.

Dugans cooking on the recruiting trail

Wide receivers coach Ron Dugans has turned into quite the recruiter lately as he landed five-star Hykeem Williams, four-star Vandrevius Jacobs, and three-star Goldie Lawrence during the 2023 recruiting cycle.
