3-Star. Andre Otto ranks as the No. 774 player and No. 53 offensive tackle nationally. He ranks as the No. 119 player in the Sunshine State and checks in at 6’5″ and 290 pounds. Otto hasn’t arrived on campus yet but should be coming soon. He could play multiple positions, but FSU coaches like him most at center. I’ve heard some folks say Otto could play early, but I disagree wholeheartedly, especially since Otto wasn’t an early enrollee. He’s a bright young man, so that’ll help him learn the offense quickly. However, Maurice Smith is only a redshirt junior and will have another year of eligibility left if he decides to return. It’ll likely be two years before we see Otto make any real contributions. However, I think he has a high ceiling and could be a valuable player for the Noles in time.. OL. Key West HS, Key West, FL. ANDRE OTTO
