FSU football: Offensive recruiting 2024 target board
WIDE RECEIVER
The rich keep getting richer, as the Noles have four wide receivers committed to their 2024 recruiting class four-stars Camdon Frier, TJ Abrams, BJ Gibson, and Lawayne McCoy.
I remember a majority of Seminole fans on social media doubting the recruiting ability of wide receivers coach Ron Dugans after he did not sign any at his position in the 2022 cycle.
However, Coach Dugans proved the naysayer’s wrong last offseason after securing four transfers in Winston Wright Jr. (West Virginia), Johnny Wilson (Arizona State), Mycah Pittman (Oregon- transferred to Utah this offseason), and Deuce Spann (Illinois) as well three wide receiver prospects in five-star Hykeem Williams, four-star Vandrevius Jacobs, and three-star Darren Lawrence for their 2023 recruiting class.
The FSU coaching staff continued their run of talented pass catchers by acquiring four-stars Camdon Frier, TJ Abrams, BJ Gibson, and Lawayne McCoy in their recruiting class.
This flurry of playmakers will help their dynamic quarterback commit, Luke Kromenhoek, in the future of his career with the Seminoles. However, the question still remains: Will Florida State take a fifth wide receiver in the class?
Some of the prospects to monitor for the position are:
- Five-star Jeremiah Smith (Ohio State commit)
- Five-star Joshisa Trader
- Four-star Ny Carr (Georgia commit)
- Four-star Cameron Coleman
- Four-star James Madison II
- Unranked Terence Marshall
In terms of the most likely prospect to commit, the first choice should be four-star James Madison II (who will be announcing his decision on July 4th).
